There's a spin-off film being planned about how he came to be in the Mafia but I very much doubt he'll be seen again in Gomorrah otherwise the last series especially would have been a complete waste.

Agree.

Strangely I was bit gutted that they killed him off but then again there has been many series over the years where it's gone stale so killing off a big character can be a good thing. But if they claim he survived then it's going to be a bit pointless the way they built it up to be his time to go and how he had been struggling with conscience of it etc
