Goals condeded from corners & crosses into the box

There is a lot to improve with how we attack and defend them. For all teams in this league set pieces are huge and right now it is costing us games whereas before they were winning us games. We seem to go man for man in the six yard box but then leave/lose men around the edge of that area if the cross is played to the far post or if a second ball falls somewhere outside the six yard box. I don't think full zonal works but we seem to use our spare men just to double down on the moshpit in the six yard box when really they could be better covering key areas like the far post or penalty spot where we keep letting men win uncontested balls.

Our attacking corners never really seemed great but our long throws in particular have dropped off now since teams know to put a man in front and behind Ballard so we never win the first ball. Even if we won the flick on we are no longer getting the distance to make the flick on a real threat anyway. This is all compounded by teams having better positioning for the second ball once they make the near post clearance. We may need to try some other approaches to those throws to either target other parts of the box or to have our men more around the edge since loading them in the six yard box and penalty spot is pointless if we don't win the flick on.
