All marketing is basically fooling people into buying something they probably don't need. The current strategy for most companies these days is to make out that somehow their daily operations and existence is nothing other than enriching the delicate beautiful soul of the universe while inspirational music plays softly in the background.

Marketing and advertising companies themselves don't care if their ads are met with fury or disdain so long as they're being talked about. So my advice is ignore them, don't click on that video, and subscribe to Cornerstone instead. At least they fund good podcasts with their advertising
