Areet Bono calm downPlease stop with the U2 thing. It's not them. And if you really wanted to see them there has been ample opportunity (and tickets) over the last three years.
Haha.People still thinking Rammstein'll play.
Tenor says it's nowt that's been mentioned.
No idea who ramsteinn are
Muse aren’t my cup of tea
Spice girls??
I’m underwhelmed
Yeah that’s the main thing and it’s good for the city etc. Was hoping it was something to get my interest but you can’t please everyoneAs long as it makes the club money, who cares?
There's nowt wrong with being disappointed that the band's arent to your liking thus meaning you won't be attending. As long as it makes the club money, who cares?
The thing is, whoever or whatever is booked for the stadium, what does it matter if it's generating a bit of revenue for the club and bringing an event to the city? It's not like the club's signed some striker ya've never heard of to play week in week out, so what exactly is there to be underwhelmed about? It's a bit of entertainment, you're either interested or you're not. Somebody will be. Does the Metro Arena discriminate on grounds of taste? Does the Sunderland Empire? Do they bollocks. They're just venues for shows that some people want to see, and that's what the Stadium should be too. They could have a Walt Disney production of X Factor on ice for all I care, as long as it does a bit of business for Sunderland. No idea who ramsteinn are

Maybe it would be but they turned the club down when they were active.AC/DC would be better though.
I don't think they would ever play up here again. I'm sure I read that the last time they played up here they didn't sell out the arena and Brian wasn't too pleased, and more or less said as much.Maybe it would be but they turned the club down when they were active.
That's been the accepted line on it since the '90s.I don't think they would ever play up here again. I'm sure I read that the last time they played up here they didn't sell out the arena and Brian wasn't too pleased, and more or less said as much.
I was hoping it would be someone I’d like to see. Someone's in a wind-up mood this morning.Reading this thread I get the impression some people go to a gig at the SoL just because it's a gig at the ground of the team they support, and feel it nigh on compulsory to attend. Probably never went to see any live music prior to the gigs at the SoL
