He is quality on the ball. We can get away with him not being quick as there is plenty of energy in front of him. Hardly put a foot wrong tonight.

I don't want to start this debate, but he shouldn't be saying that pissed up to a bunch of fans he has just met! Even if he thinks it, even if we think it and even if he is right!

He may have been right but he shouldn't be saying it and as the lad in the video he is hardly one to talk when up until tonight he has looked like he couldn't give a toss either, which was made worse by being pissed night before training.

My opinion and obviously fans will be split on this, but I'm right I know I am :)
 
Gibson stuck out like a sore thumb ability wise tonight
It'll be a heavy schedule this season and rotating him and cattermole could work well

You have to consider the level of opposition though. He may not get as much time on the ball in league games. All I'm saying is that he does have quality and given that there's an acknowledged drink problem there is the potential for him to be fitter and sharper. I'd love to see that drunken rant prove a turning point for him...it looked as if that was it for him here but just maybe he can turn his career around on the back of it.

Aside from the unwritten rule that what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room.

Played really well. Thought there was a few times he could have took on a shot but chose not to. Perhaps just low on confidence or maybe it wasn't as good an opportunity as it looked. MOTM imo
