Quick search of him on twitter, Reading fans seem mostly gutted he's going, Walsall fan as well saying he was brilliant for them when going for promotion in this league and that was when he was younger and much less experienced. Sounds like he'd be a great signing and him and McGeouch at the base of midfield would be canny.

Well they’re discussing contracts now so if he wasn’t keen then we wouldn’t be at this stage. Looks a good signing, and adds a lot of height strength and can grow as a player.

If we get him and Wyke, after sealing McGeough, I think I'll start to trust Ross. He seems to know what we need, creativity and strenght in midfield plus a strong striker who scores for fun at this level. And all 3 fairly young (23-26 year olds).

Thin Evans will be a Coton signing.
