I would completely agree with that if I didn't think that defence we had yesterday is our current best back 4 as a unit. I personally don't think he should've been a rotation option this season as he is too good for that.

They love ballard too, and we do need home grown players. So its a tough one

In my opinion the only way he would have signed for us, after sitting on the bench for 50% of the season, would have been if we'd made Europe, which is now extremely unlikely. Its a real shame in my opinion, I'm a huge fan of le bris but not recognizing that Gerty is the best right back we have has been one of the major frustrations this season.

Luke O'nien, as much as we all love him, playing ahead of Lutsharel Geertruida is absolute crazy stuff

Our best back 4 imo is:

Renildo - Nordi - Alderete - Mukiele............. ;)

However, players like Dan, Trai and the rest have my complete faith when selected also.
Who would have thought a year ago that we would be having discussions like this!

Regis showed his limitations with the whole gerty situation. Everyone could see that our best back 4 was 'Rainman Bollard/Alreete Nordini Godruida' so why couldn't Regis LeBlind? Not playing Nordini at CB is what cost us Europa league.
 
i still think there's a pretty good chance he may sign.
You don't give a performance like that and rev the crowd up like that if you're off
 
It might be that theres a trigger in the terms he has to sign if he plays X ammount of games and he’s said he doesnt want to be here permanently which is why he’s not played regulaly, could be clear of meeting the threshold so playing the last few.
 
Didn’t Regis say in press conference a couple of days ago that there was no obligation to sign triggered by appearances?

He also said there has not been a final decision made on him, didn't he? Or have I made that up?
