Suppose that’s the right way to handle it from the club, yes we’re not going to stand in your way, understand it’s a big move etc etc. but we want to get our replacement. As we haven’t we can’t let you go.

Firm but fair (exactly what I was whining on about wanting this morning).

For all we know, could even be a gentleman’s agreement with Liverpool we’ll let him go in the summer at a fair price?

Not fussed if he went and we replaced or stayed. Because his versatility is useful to the squad.

I said earlier, if the rumours about us allowing him to go if we got a replacement are true, but because we haven’t been able to, he respects we would have let him go if we’d been able to get a replacement, and now just gets his head down and does the business.

They won’t want him then, seems like they just want a plug gap player until Frimpong/Bradley is back in the summer

He was Slots captain at Feyenoord for three seasons and he he clearly has a relationship with him similar to the one Le Fee enjoys with Le Bris.

So why didn't he take him when he first went to Liverpool.
