To be honest the balance of power is shifting in the PL and Liverpool are not going in the right direction

Good for the short term to keep continuity. Certainly good for our XI tomorrow. There’s definitely still longer term questions here though. Will he want to sign permanently after all this? Is his total cost including wages the best way to improve us? We’ll find out in due course but it’s a lot easier to deal with these questions in a summer window for sure.

I doubt he'll sign anyway if he's not going to be first choice.
