Good for the short term to keep continuity. Certainly good for our XI tomorrow. There’s definitely still longer term questions here though. Will he want to sign permanently after all this? Is his total cost including wages the best way to improve us? We’ll find out in due course but it’s a lot easier to deal with these questions in a summer window for sure.

At the end of the day they can be happy or unhappy. They’re very well paid professional footballers and just need to crack on. Got no time for anyone who behaves like a prima Donna.
