Great news if he says. Sounds like he’s still happy and onboard with saying. Don’t blame him for wanting the move but the timing is shite. Hopefully he can nail a place down in the starting xi and be made permanent in the summer.
 
Good for the short term to keep continuity. Certainly good for our XI tomorrow. There’s definitely still longer term questions here though. Will he want to sign permanently after all this? Is his total cost including wages the best way to improve us? We’ll find out in due course but it’s a lot easier to deal with these questions in a summer window for sure.
