Only downside, is any player potentially coming in as a replacement,will in Regis's world need to connect with the squad and learn our style. He doesn’t usually throw new players in, not a good scenario we are in imo.

Or it made sense he kept his fitness in a meaningless kick about for 45 mins then didn’t start in a big real game. It was obvious something was up for him not to play it made no sense to have him sitting on the bench when Xhaka was out.

I’m not saying we know this definitively, but it’s completely plausible

Liverpool have been looking for RB for a couple of week according to one of the tweets this AM from an actual journalist (Ornstein or somebody). Obviously the newer injury (Frimpong?) will have sped this up too

Yes it is plausible but my point is no one knows for sure. Actually think he will definitely get more minutes there than here as a RB for the short term at least which will help his WC chances.
