I doubt they're going to be off Geertruidas quality on the last day of the January window.

We are in a bit of danger of looking short in a couple of key areas now. Possibly exiting the window weaker than when we went into it. Nobody expected that.

Might it not be the case he was never committed hence his u21 appearance and being a unused sub at West Ham yes he's had a lack of game time but maybe there's been a underlying reason for this😮‍💨
 
Big miss squad wise, not a big miss playing wise as we have for the most part, used him as a stop gap.

On the other hand, as talented as he is, he seems to play in medium when he has the capability to play at a high level. It was a horrendous error playing Hume in the position he played in last week instead of him, although now we probably know why.

The recent games after Brentford are obviously to do with him deciding he wants away, which other games should he have played and ahead of who?
 
Over to those in charge, they’ve demonstrated they can work very well in the market, have talked about not standing in players ways if the right deal is on the table (this includes price and us bringing in replacements)

As fans cos we have very little information the reactions are understandable we all just want the best for the club and potentially losing a very good player doesn’t align with that view, especially so late in the window.

Time for those in charge to step up again 👍🏻

We aren't losing a player that gets into our first XI in any position.

I really like him and don't want to lose him but we can come out of this in a better position.

He does exactly the same role for Liverpool that he does for us, but they play a lot more games per season so he ends up playing more minutes. Plus they’re an elite club.

Liverpool have lost there 2 rightbacks. He will play RB for them. Slot had him at Feyenoord. He will no Van Dijk, Gakpo and Gravenberch for the Holland set up. It’s a brilliant move for him and he will do well there
