I would assume if something like this goes through we either get a pile of dosh out of it or a player in from Liverpool. Maybe we make him permanent, loan to Liverpool, and then loan one of their youngsters with an option to buy?
 
What replacement do we need?

A midfielder? I'd be confident that there's one out there better than Geertruida and Neil that we can get - whether that's this window, I don't know (which would be a problem).

Maybe a CB but only cover required.

Compare that to Isidor - we did announce the buy option when we signed him on loan.

So we may actually have no such option. Leipzig would likely have a recall option in that case, in which case they can recall him and sell him or loan him on to Liverpool and there's nothing we can do about it.

No sympathy with clubs who rely on borrowing other clubs players then discover they can't control what happens because he's not their player.

Reckon the club have only just discovered the terms of the deal?
 
He's not exactly a good luck charm mind, he's started 10 times for us in the league and we only won one of them.

Probably a handy lad to have around to fill in here and there, but him leaving wouldn't be anything to get in a twist about.

I’ll be a bit gutted if this happens mind. If we bring in equal quality or better then fair enough.

When Liverpool come knocking it’s gonna happen like. Can’t see it not.

I wonder if this has been going on a while.

He shouldn’t have had more game time, the players ahead of him have been outstanding, if he can’t knuckle down and fight for his place it says something about his character, see you later lad we just need to get a replacement , more to cover midfield than his preferred position
