Gary Rowett

Taken over at Birmingham on an interim basis until the end of the season whilst Mowbray is away. Exactly the sort of thing we should be doing, get someone in until the end of the season instead of hoping for the best with Dodds every game.
We have clearly been shite but surely yet another manager wouldn't really help would it? Some one else to come in and take a few games to get their ideas across and try different players to eventually come to the same conclusions as the others
Number 1, is Gary Rowett
Number 2 is Gary rowett

Personally think it would be madness to do it.

Firstly, there's no non-desperate manager that would come into job for a few games, so the options aren't really there.

Secondly, if someone comes in and wins a few games it ultimately means the new manager appointed in the summer is pissing against the wind from day one, because as soon as we drop points the masses will be saying "why didn't we just keep X temporary manager, what a shite decision" etc etc.

Thirdly, I get doing it in someone like Birmingham's position but it would take a frankly unfathomable run of form for us to be in any real danger. Simply put, we aren't going down and aren't making the playoffs so there's no real need.

Ultimately they should never have appointed Beale which was obvious to almost everyone and everything went downhill from there, but adding another wrong at this stage won't make a right.

This next managerial appointment is a critical one for all concerned and being realistic, there are a few people at the club who are finished if it goes wrong. There's no need to add another factor in the form of a temporary manager for a handful of games to the mix.

Why? We aren’t getting play offs and we aren’t getting relegated. We will limp over the line and finish mid-table.

Why use any financial resources for a temporary gaffer when we can go full pelt in the summer for who we actually want?
Like we went full pelt when TM left?!
