Gary O'Neil leaves Bournemouth

O'Neil is proving to be a decent manager. I thought Wolves might struggle but he's got them doing pretty well.

I'd agree about relegation. Really disappointed by Burnley, particularly, given how well they did in going up. I suspect Forest are the only side who might also get involved. Everton obviously there at the moment but the points loss seems to have motivated them.

I agree. Forest look the only Team who might get sucked in, but I went with the three at the start and I'm not changing my thoughts at the moment. Forest have got some tough games coming up. Cooper is under pressure and if ten Haag isn't sacked first, the next could be Cooper.

Decent point at Wolves today for Forest, I guess. They need Awoniyi back to have a consistent goal threat though.

Gibbs-White isn't playing as well this season as last and they miss Brennan Johnson.

Their 12th place finish in the top division is their 2nd highest finish in the history of the club.

He also finishes 9 points and 3 places ahead of the total O'Neil achieved at Bournemouth last season.

O'Neil did a very good job at Wolves this season, but to call Iraola a "much worse manager" was absolute nonsense at the time you posted it and has proven to be even more so now.

To be fair, this is the worst Premier League in decades. 2 teams had points deducted and still stayed up. I reckon O'Neil would have at least done as well this season with Bournemouth.

It seems they are both on par with each other in management terms. Only 2 points seperated them. Not sure how often VAR shafted Bournemouth but we all know Wolves were on the receiving end of some shocking decisions throughout the season quite often.

O'Neil about to be sacked by Wolves, 2 wins from 16 this season and currently 19th.

Meanwhile Iraola is off the back of achieving Bournemouth's highest ever points total in the PL last season, currently 4 points off the top 4 this season with a game in hand, and being linked with big jobs in England and abroad.

O'Neil to Iraola is one of the biggest immediate upgrades in manager that a PL club has ever made.

Wolves fan at work reckons it would be harsh to get rid as they've brought in something like £200m in player sales and given him naff all to spend, apparently. Got to keep that PL money coming in though.
