Got the bairn a bundle for Christmas for 400 quid.

Turns out most of the games won't play on the Nvidia 730 graphics card.

Is it easy enough just to buy a better one and slot it straight in?

Processor is i5.
16gb ram
500w ps

You've been absolutely had there that's not a gaming PC, nvidia 730 will run video but not a single game in the past 10/15 year or so

common occurance, people add a RGB keyboard and a old graphics card to a ex office machine and then sell them on as a gaming bundle when really they are not suitable for it at all.
:(

You could add better GPU but the other components will probably bottleneck it. It will help run some older and more basic games like roblox, maybe fortnite at a push. I would have a look at the likes of a rx580 from CEX for no more than £100.

Cex are over priced but they do tend to offer a decent warrenty iirc

You can make it considerably better but there's a few things to consider, first the space inside the case, proper graphics cards are huge and then you'll probably need to upgrade the PSU as well.

Theres one from sunderland whos been really prolific on the likes of facebook market place and gumtree etc selling these "ultra fast lag free gaming PCs" when they are clearly not but unfortunately there are allot of people who dont know about them. Really annoys me and facebook and gum tree dont seem to do anything about them.

Mate I would try and send it back, that's basically a 10-12 year old processor and some ancient ram, the motherboard will also be ancient and won't accept much better graphics. I wouldn't bother trying to upgrade it personally. Sorry

There’s only 3 reviews on there and this one is obviously a fake…

Review on Amazon: Great Gaming bundle https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/revi...apin_dprv_446KQ9EXW8WAVEE1SJ2J&language=en_US

9 of the 12 items they’ve reviewed are for gaming bundles. I’d chance my luck and try to get Amazon to accept the return. Send them that review as part of the request.

100% send it back, Amazon will back you. Then take advice on here and grab a much better deal. You will end up scrapping most of that and replacing anyway.

Send it back asap and thank your lucky stars it was Amazon you got it from. Be better off with Xbox or ps5 for that price. You can not get a decent gaming PC for £400 new or 2nd hand.
