I tried to use a secret code with the *'s but it appears you're intelligent enough to crack it.
To be fair Colback is an ex Sunderland player which would get him threads, an academy product which would get him threads, a mag which would get him threads, a Premier League footballer which would get him threads and a player called up by England which would also get him threads.
There's plenty of reasons why Colback would get discussed on here, but not many why amateur hoofers would. For the record i don't mind the non league stuff but it'd be better served in one forum for all the teams so it has a sense of perspective.
Most people come on here for news about Sunderland with a bit of relevant stuff thrown in from other teams. It'd sharp p*ss people off if hundreds of parents started posting about their son's football teams which clogged the board up.
I just wouldn't click on them

I just wouldn't click on them
Yes, but if every parent from every team posted about their child it'd be page 5 before the first Sunderland thread. Same goes for all the amateur teams too.
I'd stick them all in a sub forum so they have relevance to each other.
Talking about failed hoofers alongside professionals who've made it is confusing and has very little relevance.

I wouldn't mind dipping into the non league forum to see a few league tables posted up etc. Maybe more teams could post upcoming fixtures to tempt a few extra spectators.

I'm champion @PISTON lad  it maybe an achievement, at the minute I'm not sure he'd improve our bang average midfield mind
I'm not sure he would either. He could fit in ok but in my opinion i don't think we'd improve significantly. The only thing i would say is he's a bit more consistent than say Cattermole so we might claw a few points over the season there.
I'd say if you were to watch our side with Colback in there'd be no significant difference whatsoever, but at the end of the season we'd have a handful more points. Some of that would be down to his versatility in covering positions for injuries/suspensions where we'd otherwise be weaker.

For the record Colback's best position is Left Back. That is the position which highlights his strengths. I'd say he'd be one notch up the ladder as a LB than a midfielder.

Consistent at what?

Consistent at what?
Not making terrible mistakes. (Don't include the palace slip up in their half. As many a pundit said, it wasn't ideal, but newcastle had another six or so chances to clear up the initial mistake).

They are totally different players. One is a defensive midfielder and the other er isn't.

Is Colback the main factor in these wins against the top sides? If so I blame him for our cup final defeat.
It's a shame about the Cup Final. No Premier League player has featured in more wins over Man City than Colback*. That is a truly tremendous record, unless you believe he was a passenger in all those victories!!!
(*someone might have equalled his record but i'd have to check).

Are you saying Colback isn't defensive?? That's his biggest f*cking attribute!!
He's not doing very well, his side have conceded the most in the league.

His fault then.

He's far too lightweight to be considered a defensive midfielder. Weak as piss.
I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't heavier than Cattermole, there can't be much in it. Neither are suited to that role as both aren't great players nor are they outstanding athletes.
The difference is Colback is versatile so benefits the team more over a season. Plus, his best position is fullback.

WTF are you waffling on about? Colback's technique isn't good enough, fuck all to do with how many pies he eats.

Why do you keep regurgitating the same shite on here?

Next up....

We should have signed Ki.
