And how many times did they beat city with cattermole playing?
I saw you added Bardsley, i wasn't sure if he played in Stoke's recent win. Scored a great goal the week before, good player for us was Bardo, another hounded out by the boo boy amateurs!!:)

Also we don't miss Bardsley one bit, Jones and Yedlin are better.

For a so called professional sportsman or ex whatever the fuck he was, PISTON doesn't half hold mediocrity in high regard.

I respect the people who make it to the top level, its a tremendous achievement, like getting to the top of a very high mountain.
Would it be fair to say 99.9% of people on here who "judge" him are failed sportsmen themselves? There can't be many of those failures who'd choose a different option if they'd passed every test like Colback did.

For the record ive personally witnessed, and been part of, encounters when smug amateurs have come across "mediocre" professionals. The pro's absolutely crushed them to the point of humiliation. Never again would they open their mouths in judgement, they were f*cking annihilated.
Colback's been through every level amongst thousands of young lads and he was the one who did it. Were you one of the failures he saw off and that's why you're bitter?
I went through a completely different route in the sport i made money from and encountered many different problems. Starting very late many said my background and understanding of the game would be highlighted and in lots of ways it was. At the start the "judges" were correct with the faults they saw, but unlike others they were blind to the good i was doing. I was very lucky that the only opinions which mattered were those of experienced professionals and it wasn't long before i added awareness and understanding to what some said was just savage aggression(not my words).

Next time you watch the mediocre Colback take a look around the stands and remember, he saw off 99.9% of those watching to get on the pitch himself. Being a mag is one thing, but de-valuing his achievement is another. Our club de-valued him and that's why he's no longer here.
Anyway, enjoy your day!:):):)

Nee response to Cattermole beating Colback in the 'Man City' stakes then with his 5 wins at least including a winner

I made it to a relatively high level as a youngster and failed. Yes, thanks for bringing that up ;)

I don't rate him as a professional and I don't respect him for how he has gone on in the past 18 months. Ill leave it at that.

Have a nice day too!

I should've been more specific on this thread as i have in the past. I usually talk about Man City post awab mans in this respect otherwise it'd have little meaning.
When i say Colback's had wins against many top PL clubs i always meant Man Utd, Chelsea(Abramovich era), Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City(late awab mans). I used to say it every time but it got a bit repetitive.
Those are the games i feel are wins against top sides but they only go back maybe 5-8 years for some.

whether he is or is not a good player he did a (unts trick to our football club and since he moved to them he has failed to have any dignity. Coming from the North East he knew the score. Goading supporters of a club that made him and his average ability a millionaire is not good.

The goalposts were changed to wins since City got money.

He's had a nightmare here has owld @PISTON
Absolutely the goalposts changed since city got money. If they hadn't got money they wouldn't be a team mentioned in one of the hardest to beat which is currently:-
Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea(still!!). Some people might have spurs ahead of chelsea on current form but in my opinion the "blues" are still a big scalp and will be considered so for a short while at least.
Wins against those five sides are still considered special wins, just a few years ago the list only contained 3 sides, Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool. The other two have only been special wins for a handful of years, hence early wins not being quite so notable.

What are you blithering on about?

Only if you're one of the Pedantic Policemen.
Most experienced posters will remember what ive said many times previously and know exactly what i meant even if they hadn't.
Wins against the top PL sides when they actually were top PL sides. Chelsea and Man City have only joined that exclusive list recently. Being a SKYBOY and failed amateur sportsman i thought you'd have known that!!:)
Oh, and by the way, before i forget, Good Morning Rocky!!:)

What are you blithering on about?
Ask Rocky.

Don't rate him as a professional? He turns up for training every day, keeps himself fit and ready for selection, he rarely misses a game, doesn't throw his dummy out when asked to play a different role, doesn't bring shame on himself or his club?? Given his ability he's a model professional.
I would say his agent and/or advisor should be f*cking birched and with time Colback will realise that himself, although i suspect he already has. It also shows a complete lack of experience and/or guidance from senior figures in newcastle's dressing room, something i was lucky with in that respect.

By the way, i never looked down on lower/amateur sportsmen, only the ones who tried to judge me from below, then i'd be looking to set the record straight.
