Frank Lampard - manager rumours

Lampard could be anything as a coach or manager. He’s got some decent experience under his belt and managed in some pretty difficult circumstances at his previous clubs.

I don’t think he’s experienced enough to win matches regularly in the premier league. You’ve now got to be elite to do that.

Could he gather a group of decent enough young players in the championship, put a bit of belief in them and inspire? Quite possibly. Could SAFC be the sort of club for Lampard get back on the ladder and prove he’s got what it takes? It would be more risky for him than us, but it could work and let’s face it we are running out of half decent options.

I’m not against this like. He’s done some good as a manager and some poor

Really liked his derby team

It’s a weird situation with some fans who are absolutely against anyone who isn’t foreign, even when they’ve never even heard of them.

I like Lampard

T Frank’s voice doing me head in

What about his Derby team did you like exactly?

He had a good few loans due to his initial connections but they had no discernable style of play. They spawned their way to a play off final and rightly got shown up when it mattered.

I don't even think the top clubs will trust him with loans these days. He's done absolutely nothing in his managerial career despite being given a few decent gigs now.

It's footballing nepotism at it's finest.

Not that I believe a single word that is put down in print in any of the newspapers about anything but I thought Frank turned us down because he didn’t want to work under the terms of a deal that says he can’t sign his own players or bring his own staff in.

His derby side tore Leeds a new arsehole in the semis then lost by one goal in the final to a superior villa side. Leeds got shown up by him.

Leeds absolutely pasted them for 3 and a half games that season.

It was only a mental and physical collapse from Leeds that saw Derby fluke their way to the final.
