I haven't seen many posters on Foxes Talk thinking we're going to hammer Sunderland (or calling you Blunderland for that matter). Let's face it, every club has fans who know fuck all about either the game or opposing teams - look at some of the posts on here for example - but I think most posters on that thread recognise that tomorrow is going to be one of the hardest games we've faced for a while. When Allardyce was appointed I said that the one thing he wouldn't tolerate is any player not giving everything, and I also said that he would tighten up your defence. And I've been right on both counts.

For what it's worth, I think that tomorrow will be really difficult for City. If we win, it will probably be another 1-0. I'd take that, of course, just as you would take a 1-0 win for Sunderland. Although I'd be happier with 6-0 to us.

One thing you can be sure of is that not one of our players will think you're shite.

There was barely one poster giving us any credit for improving greatly since the January transfer window closed. We've lost only 2 games since then, both 1-0 and in the 2 games, Man City home and West Ham away on the balance of play we deserved at least a draw.

I stand by what I said, 99% of posts of the thread are f***ing clueless.

Hope we stuff you tomorrow, you fold and Spurs win the league.

To be fair, you wouldn't really expect many people on FT to know about your January signings. I happen to have noticed them, partly because I am interested in Sunderland, and partly because the key signings all start with K. Well nearly all.

I doubt you will stuff us tomorrow (frankly any more than City will stuff you) and I also doubt we will fold - because if we were going to fold we would probably have done it around Christmas/New Year.

Plenty clear now, it's yours amazing achievement and credit to everyone at the club, the last 4/5 games which you have grinded out 1-0 show you lot had/have the stomach for it, doubt tomorrow's result will have a bearing on you winning the league but it will be massive for us...... first goal wins tomorrow in my opinion

I think tomorrow's game has come at the wrong time for Sunderland, in that - whether you score first or not - City will be desperate to win, or at the very least draw, and will keep going until the last minute of added time. The reason is that if we open up a ten-point gap, I can see Spurs bottling it against Man U: and if we have a ten point gap this time tomorrow, and five games to play, we are going to feel very relaxed against West Ham and Swansea.

None of which means that City are favourites tomorrow. I've a lot of respect for Allardyce and the way he sets up his teams, and the fact is that you are due a win after four "coulda shoulda woulda" draws: I just hope you don't get that win tomorrow.

Personally I think it will be tight, but I'd still like us to run up a 4-0 lead before half-time. Five 1-0 wins in the past six games is not good for an old fart like me.

five wins in six and seven points clear is good for anyone, regardless of age ;) ......I know what you mean though

We can't seem to win, you can't seem to lose, I've seen this far too many times in the past (or maybe that is me just trying to see any little glimmer)

Best of luck fort he title run in, apart from tomorrow obviously

Thanks mate. I'd like Sunderland to survive this season, though I also have soft spot for Narge. But whatever happens to us this season, it's been amazing. I just hope...

I think the game has come at a good time for us. We're playing well and you aren't scoring freely and looking very nervy. Hopefully both teams luck will change and we'll start getting the wins our play deserves.

I don't think we look nervy at all, bar there two penalty shouts, we had the best chances by far.

Sitting and watching the game last week we looked very comfortable.

I'm not sure if it was ever a good time to play them. Maybe the first game of the season would have....oh, right..

You scrapped a 1-0 against an awful Newcastle side who had lost their previous 6 away games.

If you play anything like that today you'll get beat.

Against Soton you could have easily been 1-0 down with 10 men.

I was getting angry reading it, they really don't have a clue what we are like.....

They said Vardy would run riot as our defence is slow.....
I think you'll be hard pushed to find a quicker back 4 in the entire league

Someone said Ulloa should play as he will bully JOS.
Aye that might be true, but would he bully Kone and Kaboul???????

Drinky and Kante will beast our midfield as it's weak as piss
Was that before or after Kirchoff signed??????

There were plenty more things on there as well. Sam should make the players read that before kick off. It's f***ing got me fired up that's for certain!

Hope to hell we fuck up their title chances!!

Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They were right.
