The long balls up to Defoe aren't high in the air even from Mannone.

He's obviously happy to receive the ball like this and it's up to the midfield to support him.

If anyone believes we're going to play it in the air against those 2 they must be dimwits ......... playing it around them is the obvious tactic.

We've actually played some good football lately.

I liked this one "I agree some players looked shattered, but there was the small matter of internationals and travel/time differences to contend with, as well as he emotional impact. I suspect a week of drug taking recovery time will sort things out to a decent extent........."

I remember a team who were bottom of league going to Chelsea, who had never lost a home league game under Mourinho and beaten them 2-1.

This time last year Leicester City were bottom of league 7 points from safety. Now they are 7 clear at the top.

Football doesn't always follow the form book. If we don't have believe that we can win them we might as well give up!

They were last week mind. In fact west broms defence must've won 8 out of 10 balls hoofed up to him. Hate that tactic personally. Especially when we are capable of playing some good stuff at times.

The reality is that a fair few people are starting to get pissed off with them.

This is a crucial game for Sunderland and any celebration of a winning goal could result in a clip.
