I've upgraded from the PC but they haven't gave me a new ticket for the west stand, going to have to get in touch with themSounds like if you upgrade and you're in the lower tier you use your normal seat and just get access to the bar. If you're in the PC they give you a seat, presumably in the west stand. If they ever went back to doing an upgrade as a season ticket benefit I'd hope they'd include the west stand seat like!
A bit like what they are telling current bcb ticket holders?that’s unfortunate, but can you imagine the stories we would hear about people who have had the same seat since the stadium opened, who got told tough you have to move because this block is all going to be for the founders tickets holders now?
In an ideal world there would be some extra block of premium seats somewhere that would be available to founders members without disrupting anyone else but it’s just not possible
Yes.Does it have Guinness on tap?
Guinness, Madri, Coors, Carling, and Aspalls all on tap I think (same as BCB). Staro in bottles.Does it have Guinness on tap?
I'm sold.Yes.

Coffee machine serving better coffees than the instant stuff.
I don't mean move everyone completely but you could juggle a few seats in a very small area to accommodate people who also have been moved (and for the mags game) and are expected to pay a grand for a pretty poor offering.that’s unfortunate, but can you imagine the stories we would hear about people who have had the same seat since the stadium opened, who got told tough you have to move because this block is all going to be for the founders tickets holders now?

If it sells out though you can only go in after the match if it doesn't have the full 300 in after 30 mins.I'm hoping they'll continue to offer that as a match by match thing, like they are for the last 4 home games of the season. Obviously that'll depend on season ticket takeup in there.
Me and my mate go with our bairns every game so it's not worth it for us at the minute, the kids won't want to go that early and sit in a bar so it's a huge cost rise (taking into account the kids tickets) for no benefit. But we don't normally take them midweek and we think we'd be interested in upgrading for some of the midweek games. Open 3 hours before the match and 1 hour after for midweek games. So finish work, get changed, straight down the ground, prematch pints and a catchup, drink until near kick off, then easy to get a couple drinks afterwards as well. Sounds mint tbh. £30 extra every game isn't worth it just for bar access imo, but I think it'll be a very popular offering if it's available as an add on
Yeah, I do think they've gone for a pretty high price point for what you get. I'm assuming they've done market research etc but it is hefty. The big advantage it's got is that you're through the turnstiles so you avoid the big queues that you'd get if you drink in sheepfolds until near kick off. That seems to be it, in terms of advantages over a decent pub. If you're in the west stand then it has the advantage of, presumably, quicker service at half time as well. Not so much if you're in another lower bowl seat, and certainly not if you're in the PC. £30 for bar access is a huge ask imo. It'll be popular with season ticket holders for it's first season, time will tell whether they stay on. I suspect it's main selling point will be for people doing it as a one off.No chance I’m paying £30 to be able to enter what sounds like a worse experience than sheepfolds, when I could just spend that £30 in sheepfolds on food and drink before and after game instead.
I was a bit baffled by the email I got from the club today about upgrading my ticket for £30 English pounds stirling… seemingly for bar entry and a match program. No chance I’m paying £30 to be able to enter what sounds like a worse experience than sheepfolds, when I could just spend that £30 in sheepfolds on food and drink before and after game instead.
Thought someone said it looked like £16 to drink out of a glass?Yeah, I do think they've gone for a pretty high price point for what you get. Mind, they'll probably have high demand just because it's the nearest people will get to affordable if they want more than the normal concourse, given quinns and BCB will be a fair bit more but it does feel a little like a cash grab for what they offer, especially bearing in mind the location of the seats
The Founders is just along from our section, so don’t get me wrong, I encourage everyone who uses the bar round us to pay £30 for The Founders instead, so it’s quicker for us to get served at the same bar we always go to for 35 minute pint club.Yeah, I do think they've gone for a pretty high price point for what you get. People will pay it as well! It's one of the hardest things when making a case against price rises. The club will just see that, if we get to Wembley, 35,000+ will suddenly be able to pull £300 or whatever out. Every hospitality (or similar) bit they open, people pack it (to the point in bits like quinns that there's bugger all chance of a seat unless you're there as soon as it opens). We know how much some have to give up to support their club and the financial toll it can take, and any rises prevent some from attending. The club will likely just think "it's only an extra £50, they'll pay it" when it comes to ticket rises and "they'll pay £300 more for this entry level hospitality section". And most will.I was a bit baffled by the email I got from the club today about upgrading my ticket for £30 English pounds stirling… seemingly for bar entry and a match program.

People have more money than sense. There's loads of places right next to the ground. If you don't get a prime seat then these bars are a waste of money.People will pay it as well! We love a mooch about pre game/after including top meal n sometimes uber to ground, still a good few quid up over these options.People have more money than sense. There's loads of places right next to the ground. If you don't get a prime seat then these bars are a waste of money.
We tend to just drink in town and Uber over 15 minutes before kickoff. We love a mooch about pre game/after including top meal n sometimes uber to ground, still a good few quid up over these options.
The only real benefit is halftime. It's steps from the stables at sheepfolds with better drinks and food options, plus you have the £30 to spend instead. The club have got the pricing completely wrong on this one i think.
Having to pay £30 to upgrade your usual ticket is very steep for what is on offer.
I might set up an off site hospitality option c/w different restaurant each game, transport/strippers.We tend to just drink in town and Uber over 15 minutes before kickoff.
