Seen quite a few gigs in The Central and intending to go this Tuesday for an experimental line up.
Station East seems really popular pub now. Pass that way when going to the central or the sage. Can remember going in a very long time ago and it was desolate. They seem to be making a big effort with it.

Used to go regularly to both of these bars in my youth and have recently rediscovered them. Have to say that the cave smell of Station East instantly transported me 40 years back in time. Great to see them still going strong and I have my eye on their forthcoming music events.

Ive got Thieves of Liberty, on Friday at Cluny 2, then ill see them again on Sunday in the Ship Isis. Then back through the darkside for Thomas Dolby at City Hall on Monday.

You missed the only Pixies gig I've ever been to, out of 15+, that was no good. They played a block of six (?) songs from their new album, which is awful, in the middle and it just wrecked the evening. I hope for you they've learnt their lesson.

Superb refurb job, been for both seated and standing gigs. Some great memorabilia around the bars and corridors. Loads of free parking round the corner. Proper Draught Bass in the Sun Inn!
