Just the one gig ?Public Service Broadcasting have announced a date in September at Ally Pally. Dates don't work for me, but know PSB have some fans here. Think they'll be doing the race for space in its full.

They seem to be hoying loads of stuff out recently.Just bagged Elvana for next week on sff
I fancied that, out of interest more than owt else. I am however having an early night before OxfordApparently I'm going to see Utah Saints in a few weeks at pop recs, beside myself with joy and anticipation....
Hope you’re doing ok mate. Not been me best start to the year, not had a drink since Boxing Day, missed 2 home matches and not eaten much either, but the gig calendar is starting to fill up so it's time to get back on the horse. Started last night at the Cluny where Nick Harper exceeded even his own impeccable standards with an expanded version of his 58 Fordwych Road show, stories and songs from all the 60s geniuses who popped round to share a cuppa and a spliff with his dad. Proper emotional at times.
Looking ahead (starting tonight!) I have tickets for:
St Paul & Broken Bones (NX)
Unthanks (Glasshouse)
Midlake (Fire Station)
Ron Sexsmith (Fire Station)
Wave Pictures (Cluny)
Nightingales/Thomas Truax (Poprecs)
Jon Gomm (Peacock)
Peter's Field (Fire Station)
LYR (Glasshouse)
John Smith (Peacock)
Rodney Crowell (Fire Station)
Emmylou Harris (Empire)
Jason Isbell & 400 Unit (Glasshouse)
Neil Young/Elvis Costello (Glasgow)
Sunderland - 8
Rest Of The World - 6
I need to move.
Think I’ll end up doing Jim Bob cos my mate loves him. I usually see Ian Prowse 2/3 times a year now, but nothing booked. He did say he’ll be coming to Sunderland this year. Waiting until the fixtures are out to decide if I can do the Christmas gig this year.2026 kicks off with The Clause in Preston next week.
