Forthcoming gigs.

Aye I thought the same about the cover bands, might check out crescent doing their own gig sometime
Wonder what that Oh Boy do normally. As for last night, it was perfect for a lighthearted warm up & well performed.

& aye, I’d like to see the Crescent again. Purely to pretend I’m in a time machine & I’m at the Isle of Wight 1970 & the Who are coming on next.

You could just have a chat with Bob from our quiz team as he was there!
Watched the VHS of the Who gig dozens of times. Funnily enough, just sent the YouTube link to my friends son. He’s getting a bass for Christmas so I mentioned John Entwistle & the Who & he said his college mates were into them. So I gave him homework

It becoming a habit now. He’s 16/17 & right into his music, so I get excited when he hasn’t heard of a band or wants to find out more about one.

You should become a teacher.

I was at this one. The Who blew The Faces - who were excellent - off the stage. Still one of my all-time Top 3 gigs.

My new years resolution is to go to more gigs, Bairn is old enough to come to most now and stand, not got much planned yet, Metallica in June, Might start early and do one night of the rock tributes at the city hall inbetween xmas and new year, heard its really good

Final gig of the year for me last night Badly Drawn Boy at fire station , good gig . He did two hours in total although he wasn't at all happy with the sound in the first half of the show .

Just booked for an evening of Radiohead (tribute type thingy) at Newcastle cathedral for January. Anybody been to any of these types of venues? ...seen a few for Durham too.
