They seem to have a fair old following these days. Two sold out nights in a row at Manchester Apollo earlier this year.Nah, Sunderland. Mind, I was surprised when they sold out the Fire Station so quick too.

Enjoy! Wanted to go to the NYC show but the date didn’t work for me. Particularly wanted to see Icicle Works as it was unexpected and I’m thinking probably the last chance.Next week going for a right old trip down memory lane. Could be cheesy AF but I predict still good for a laugh.
Flock of Seagulls (never saw them before)
Big Country (what’s left of them)
Icicle Works - (McNabb and the original bass player)
Vapors (saw them support The Jam at NCH in 1979 Setting Sons tour)
Belouis Some - one or two hit wonder ‘Imagination’ - not expecting a long set!
General Public
China Crisis
Peter Godwin (who?)
Josie Cotton (who?)
This isn’t a weekend festival it’s one night starting at 6 pm so I dunno how they’re all going to get on. I’ll report back if anyone’s interested.
Mine will be joining it on sale i reckon once i sort a Glasshouse ticket tomorrow
Saw him supporting Chris Cornell on his solo tour. Really good.Off to see Fantastic Negrito in Newcastle next week. One of my favourite artists, been wanting to see him for years.
Weirdly, I booked the tickets for the Boiler Shop but it looks like they've moved the gig to Pilgrim (formerly Hoochie Coochie) but never actually sent any email to inform people. I only found out because I follow him on Instagram. Seems a bit of a shoddy thing to do, change the venue but not bother to actually tell the people who've bought tickets?!![]()
Support sounds canny so we plan to get in early for once.Seeing Alan Sparhawk at the Cluny tonight. Shame it clashes with Arab Strap though.
Had a listen to them a couple of days ago. Earplugs will be needed I think.Support sounds canny so we plan to get in early for once.
Nee bother. Found it.Does anyone know anything about the line up in Keel Square the night before the Women's Rugby? I can't find anything online.
Local lasses bands?
