Forthcoming gigs.

Taking the youngest to see Olivia Rodrigo at Hyde park tomorrow. Supports are The Last Dinner Party who I’m looking forward to and Girl In Red who sound alright from what I’ve heard.

Got The levellers next. Then Rebellion Festival in Blackpool and Bad Manners later in year. Just booked tickets for The Damned 50th anniversary show at Wembley arena next year an arl.

Been to see TV On The Radio at Albert Hall in Manchester tonight, another bucket list act ticked off for me.

Still not been to a better gig venue in this country than that place.

Just back from Kid Creole and the Coconuts at the Fire Station - 100% pure old school entertainment. very, very Funky and Kid Creole had a bucket load of charisma. He can`t half move (and sing) for a 75 year old. One of the best frontmen I`ve seen in 43 years of going to gigs.

The Fire Station was absolutely perfect for this show. Love the place.

Saw them at Rock City in the 80's when Mr. Darnell was married to one of the Coconuts, Coati Mundi was the support act as well.

Wonder if he got double pay, ha tja tja tja.

Me too. Cant add too much more to what you have said. Tremendous band and Coconuts (obviously) on top of KCs top notch performance made it a memorable night.

I actually thought support Barbara were very good as well.

I was expecting a lass doing a soppy solo acoustic set not a full band. Rather enjoyed them - reminded me a bit of Jellyfish crossed with the Hoosiers

Saw them just in passing at Kubix. Ended up being one of the best bands of the weekend
Aye I’m quite looking forward to it. They are on at Rebellion at Blackpool advertised as an acoustic set. Cant wait for Rebellion. Trouble is too many bands on I want to see at same time
