They Rarrrrk !!Rival Sons in York tonight, currently enjoying a pint of Odin’s Brew in Valhalla![]()
Doesn't seem to stop the punters but can't see the attraction .Not many original vocalists in sight either.
Great songsDoesn't seem to stop the punters but can't see the attraction .
Yeah but a pale imitation of the bands in their pomp . The Stranglers and The damned are still kicking it out of the park mind but they always were quality and prolific .Great songs
Aye, but I wasn’t around to enjoy certain eras. Especially punk. Hearing even covers bands like ‘77 playing Anarchy or Pretty Vacant is the best I’ll get.Yeah but a pale imitation of the bands in their pomp . Like I said plenty enjoy it . I'd rather go see someone new( ish) .
Yeah I get that . I did see stuff back then and although I've mellowed I get my punk buzz in middle age watching Shame ,Amyl ,mods etc . I can't really listen to that original stuff any more . I've played it all to death . I look for the new fix all the time . Love finding someone new playing to 50 people.Aye, but I wasn’t around to enjoy certain eras. Especially punk. Going to see ‘77 do the Jam on Friday. Saying that, the older I get, the less I care about the Jam.
