Forthcoming gigs.

Punk all dayer up in Glasgow, Rezillos decent start in a cloudburst, Skids great and an excellent version of Complete Control, Buzzcocks struggle without Shelley’s vocals and Diggles crack was horrendous. Undertones did a great set excellent lead singer, Stranglers solid set and The Pistols, Frank Carter isn’t John Lydon but he doesn’t try to be and it works. I’m a bit battered and bruised this morning oh to be 18 again. And not one football top in sight

Sounds brilliant that.

Got a letter through the door about excess noise and traffic at rainton arena(Sunderland live) for Sunderland vibe festival offering 4 free tkts for residents in the vicinity not my type of music but will pop along for nowt

I've got a standing ticket available for Father John Misty on Wednesday for sale on Twickets for less than face value if anyone is interested.

Also, thinking of selling my Fontaines DC tickets for next month in Newcastle.

Forever Now fest was good.
Got there in time for the Furs. Johnny Marr excellent as usual. Billy Idol surprisingly good but starting to look like John Kreese from Cobra Kai!
The The were bloody brilliant. My friend didn’t recognise a single song whilst I was there singing every word, and Kraftwerk started off a bit boring (I thought) but picked up once I recognised some of the tunes. Absolutely love Trans Europe Express.

Bought some Faithless tickets for Cardiff castle on the back of their IoW set too.

Just two single tickets left for The Fire Doors on 26th September at Washington Arts Centre, Fatfield. It looks a nice little venue with banked seats.
It is
Danny Baker at the Tyne Theatre last night..what a life he's had..great stories about his family and the celebrities he's mingled with over the years..came on at 7.30..ten minute interval then then on till 11.00..loved it.
The new kenny dodd

Fancied forever now but Glasgow got the nod. Very strange to have those two and North West calling on the same weekend

Justin Welsh (currently drumming for J&MC) is less than complimentary about the Forever Now festival on his instagram - justinwelsh72.
We just want it to be known why our set was cut short.
When our crew got the stage the festival was already running late around 20 minutes, on top of that they then removed our monitor desk at the point of set up giving it to The Damned (not their fault btw and also should never happen) by doing so this created a shit storm of technical problems for our crew.
The festival then decided they were going to cut our set by another 20 minutes leaving us with only a small window to play if we were to play at all.

Our crew incredibly managed a miracle so that we’re able to play.

We hope you enjoyed the show.

They were on the much smaller other stage which I did venture over to briefly and they were on their last song and it sounded bloody awful. Would’ve stayed to watch Death Cult with my friend but the draw of Kraftwerk was too strong.

Not many original vocalists in sight either.
