Forthcoming gigs.

Wonk Unit been covered above, but must add that the prolonged 'soundcheck' was pure performance art! It's vital that bands like this exist, survive, and are seen & enjoyed by people willing to go out in shitty weather to see them. Never thought I'd see a moshpit in a Gateshead boozer.

It took me back to the halcyon days with the Anti-pop crew at the Gosforth Hotel, Arthur 2-Stroke, Noise Toys and all that.

Anyone got a vault account for third man records? Jack White tickets went on pre sale to then this year and it’s a whopping 290 a year to subscribe to it :(

JAMC were on top form at NX last night, enjoyed them immensely. A good mix of oldies and newer stuff, they got the singer from the support act, Ciel (from Brighton) up to sing the Hope Sandoval part on 'Sometimes Always'.
My Loop Experience earplugs ensured that my tinnitus isn't bugging me today, and the sonic assault was an uplifting experience.
Aye really enjoyed JAMC last night great set. That bass goes right through ya

Paul Heaton last night, was fab, Lighting Seeds last week, again fab, both thru the darkside, Magic Numbers in York tomorrow night 👍

How restricted was the restricted view?
it wasnt at all really.
was a strange one. i was the last person in a row behind Mcartney in line with the video wall which we could not see or enjoy, possiblry just behind the drummer too. so sound was definitely affected.
But we were right on top of the stage, and had 18000 people in front of us. Not recommended normally but as I just chanced my arm on ticketmaster yesterday at 3pm and a few had become available then that is what I got.

Made my 17yo daughter very happy. it was for her really.
Macca, making teenage girls cry since 1963.

the fireworks at Live and Let Die were amazing, felt the heat of them and nearly shat myself when they went off.

overall a brilliant concert and worth the most Iver ever paid for a night out. Didnt even have a drink.

He’s on my list like, but aye, it’ll be a financial outlay.
