Me mate messaged all excited saying she's got a pair of tickets and did I want to come. How much? quickly became OW MUCH?! and it's fair to say i think i may have pissed on her chips somewhat65 quid for Fontaines DC next year in Newcastle, they're having a laugh there mind.
Aye I thought the same, was only 40 with the fees for standing at Leeds last week. Still bought one like, tickets are getting even more ridiculous prices year on year65 quid for Fontaines DC next year in Newcastle, they're having a laugh there mind.
I know they are more popular now but I'm sure I only paid about 25 quid a few year ago at the City HallAye I thought the same, was only 40 with the fees for standing at Leeds last week. Still bought one like, tickets are getting even more ridiculous prices year on year
Last pre covid gig and it was mayhem. I might try and get a last minute twickets but the days of paying over the odds for tickets are gone for me.I know they are more popular now but I'm sure I only paid about 25 quid a few year ago at the City Hall
It's Happening TONIGHT
WONK UNIT
Been waiting for Wonk again since seeing them at north east called. Superb band
I’d wager them two boilers are looking a bit rough these days.Sat in a Brighton hotel before The Human League tonight.

This is a massive pisstake IMO, given that a few weeks ago I got tickets for the comparable gig in Manchester next summer (Wythenshaw Park) for £50 each incl fees. Why should Exhibition Park in Newcastle cost 30% more?65 quid for Fontaines DC next year in Newcastle, they're having a laugh there mind.
Read a review of one of their gigs last week (Guardian IIRC) saying they were tremendous. Enjoy.Sat in a Brighton hotel before The Human League tonight.

Tonight!
Not often you get an impromptu conga and a piccolo performance at a punk gig but that made it even more WonkyThat was great fun! Thanks for flagging it up.
Hadn't been to a gig up there for years but noticed they've got some really good stuff coming up so will have to keep a closer eye on their socials.
I got soaked at about 10 am on the way to the match and never really dried out all day but it was an all-round cracker. We popped into the Microbus before the Central and there were 2 blokes (I think from a band called the Lost Boys or Lost Lads) doing great acoustic covers, very different to the usual setlists. The Model, Say Hello Wave Goodbye, Personal Jesus, Starman etc ..... Place was rammed, though that doesn't take much.
I think it's at 7pm, but I'm not sure since I live in Greece!Seen any stage times advertised?
As if that's an excuse!I think it's at 7pm, but I'm not sure since I live in Greece!
