I think @Dan..Dan..Dan..Dan was suggesting that anybody could turn up and nobody would know if it was 'them' or not.The Residents have released 50 odd albums, by the way.
Ask I see. Well yes I guess that's true, although there are other ways of recognising people than seeing their faces, but yes ok.I think @Dan..Dan..Dan..Dan was suggesting that anybody could turn up and nobody would know if it was 'them' or not.
Yep, Boilershop is directly behind Central Station. I'm looking forward to it, they're always a decent gig.I'd get the Metro, Central Station is very close. But ......

Not to put a dampener on it but Skids without Stuart isn't really The Skids imo.Skids in Newcastle on Friday..nice bit of nostalgia.
While I’m on does anyone know the nearest parking for the Boiler Shop..not that familiar with Newcastle??
25th it is then. Really looking forward to it. I have seen happy Mondays about 10 times since the 90s.Can’t be the 26th cos I’m seeing them in brum that night
Agreed but it is what it is..seen them at the Pete Shelley memorial concert at the Albert Hall a couple of years ago and they were tremendous. Not to put a dampener on it but Skids without Stuart isn't really The Skids imo.
Have you watched the Filmage documentary? It's class. I never saw Descendents but I saw ALL at the Duchess of York in Leeds back in the early 90's. Bill is one of the best drummers you could ever watch.Nowt concrete for me until Random Hand in January and Descendents next June. Really excited about Descendents - they are one of my bucket list bands.
Are Buzzcocks still going without Pete?I've got The Skids next week, Skinny Lister later in the month then The Voyd and The Smyths in December. Then in January and February got Rumjacks (twice) and The Stranglers, Buzzcocks in March and From The Jam & The Selecter in April. Also tickets for Dropkick Murphys but the twats have cancelled.
Yes..seen them at the Cluny two years ago..really good..obviously not the same without Pete.Have you watched the Filmage documentary? It's class. I never saw Descendents but I saw ALL at the Duchess of York in Leeds back in the early 90's. Bill is one of the best drummers you could ever watch.

Saw em a couple of years back. They were still very good. They’re doing acoustic/unplugged gigs anarl. Not to put a dampener on it but Skids without Stuart isn't really The Skids imo.
Does Diggle do all the vocals now?Yes..seen them at the Cluny two years ago..really good..obviously not the same without Pete.
Yes..he’s ok..they’re back on the Cluny next year.Does Diggle do all the vocals now?
I regret no going to the Hammersmith Odeon one years back where the then current Buzzcocks opened the show. “Classic” Buzzcocks then did a bit. Then Devotovera Buzzcocks finished it. Still don’t know if that Garth feller played.Does Diggle do all the vocals now?
Must have been class seeing Devoto doing the Spiral Scratch stuff.I regret no going to the Hammersmith Odeon one years back where the then current Buzzcocks opened the show. “Classic” Buzzcocks then did a bit. Then Devotovera Buzzcocks finished it. Still don’t know if that Garth feller played.
