Great find! Hope you enjoyed the festival. I had a great one. Saw a lot of Sunderland fans around too who got little fist bumps from me so if I saw anyone off RTG, hi!W
Was on me way to watch Mike but went via Round The Twist and saw a 'Secret Set' advertised at 6, but the few people hanging about didn't know who it was. Then there was a fairly sudden influx of younger folk and I saw Hester from Wet Leg chatting outside so thought it might be them, which it was. Absolutely rammed and steaming hot, but they were worth it. Off to watch them again in a couple of hours. Wunderhorse first though.
When I finally got to Far Out, Mike was playing to the smallest crowd I've ever seen in there!
I`m on for that. It`ll be great. I just interviewed him a couple of weeks ago about his Conversations Tour. He talked a lot about growing up in Durham at Stonebridge and playing at Meadowfield Club. He mentioned he`d be adding a Newcastle date so well pleased to see it`s with his band.We got tickets for Trevor Horn at the City Hall in December. Lol Creme in his band too. Should be canny.
Cool. Must have missed the NE connection. Even better!I`m on for that. It`ll be great. I just interviewed him a couple of weeks ago about his Conversations Tour. He lived at Stonebridge just outside of Meadowfield and went to the Johnstone School. His parents moved down south for some reason and he moved to Hetton to live with his grandparents.Cool. Must have missed the NE connection. Even better!
