Was on me way to watch Mike but went via Round The Twist and saw a 'Secret Set' advertised at 6, but the few people hanging about didn't know who it was. Then there was a fairly sudden influx of younger folk and I saw Hester from Wet Leg chatting outside so thought it might be them, which it was. Absolutely rammed and steaming hot, but they were worth it. Off to watch them again in a couple of hours. Wunderhorse first though.

When I finally got to Far Out, Mike was playing to the smallest crowd I've ever seen in there!
Great find! Hope you enjoyed the festival. I had a great one. Saw a lot of Sunderland fans around too who got little fist bumps from me so if I saw anyone off RTG, hi!

Highlights were Kneecap, Jasmine 4.t, Los Camp!, CMAT (unbelievable live even though not usually my cup of tea), MJ Lenderman and Yard Act. But an all round sublime experience

We got tickets for Trevor Horn at the City Hall in December. Lol Creme in his band too. Should be canny.
I`m on for that. It`ll be great. I just interviewed him a couple of weeks ago about his Conversations Tour. He talked a lot about growing up in Durham at Stonebridge and playing at Meadowfield Club. He mentioned he`d be adding a Newcastle date so well pleased to see it`s with his band.

Cool. Must have missed the NE connection. Even better!
