Forthcoming gigs.

First gig in a few month tonight, feels pretty much non stop for the rest of the year from now on with about 30 or so to come before 2026.

Father John Misty at the Glasshouse this evening and then a trip down to Manchester to see TV On The Radio at my favourite gig venue Albert Hall on Friday night.

Yeah but a pale imitation of the bands in their pomp . The Stranglers and The damned are still kicking it out of the park mind but they always were quality and prolific .
Like I said plenty enjoy it . I'd rather go see someone new( ish) .
Aye, but I wasn’t around to enjoy certain eras. Especially punk. Hearing even covers bands like ‘77 playing Anarchy or Pretty Vacant is the best I’ll get.

Going to see ‘77 do the Jam on Friday. Saying that, the older I get, the less I care about the Jam.

Yeah I get that . I did see stuff back then and although I've mellowed I get my punk buzz in middle age watching Shame ,Amyl ,mods etc . I can't really listen to that original stuff any more . I've played it all to death . I look for the new fix all the time . Love finding someone new playing to 50 people.

Brilliant gig last night. Alex clearly loved being able to say Sunderland 😁

Excellent music and they worked the crowd really well. I was near the front and loved it.

First time at the Fire Station and really enjoyed the venue. Fantastic addition to the city and liked it better than other venues I've been to.

Enjoyed bigfatbig. The blonde lass spoke well and I enjoyed listening to her between songs as well as the music. She seems like a lovely person.

Great night at Franz Ferdinand at the fire station last night. Great stage presence by the band and great atmosphere. As it was a warm up for their Glastonbury set for Friday if you missed out last night watch that, you won’t be disappointed.
