Just seen Donny McCaslin is playing North Shields the day we play Oxford on 26th October. He played sax on Blackstar so it’d be a real treat for any Bowie fans to see him and his band so close to home.

Saw Wonk for the first time at North East calling last year and they were quite simply incredible. Great band been going for years and seem to be going from strength to strength

The extended version of Sue from that album is one of my absolute favourite pieces of music.

Support is Kevin Armstrong as well, who was Bowie's guitarist at Live Aid and elsewhere (and also played with Prefab Sprout). He was great at the Lust For Life gig at the Exchange a while back.
