Do HMRC have the capability to investigate everyone whose profits are up and claimed the grants?

they’re all working from home making tic-toc videos remember

HMRC have recently recruited 1000 new tax inspectors, if your profits show increase from the previous tax they will be on too you. I've took the 3 other grants but I'm not claiming this one, too much of a risk of getting investigated.

Flip side is this grant will show on Next year accounts

Every grant issue has had different rules, with the first grant you just had to have had an extra cost to make you eligible for the grant, so just having to buy face masks qualified you. This latest grant asks you to keep records of a "significant reduction" in profit from Feb to April.
