Football Insider say it's Mowbray.

Earlier today I really had a feeling we’d do something different and go for a Manning or someone. Oh well, underwhelming but I’m sure the fans will get behind him providing he gets off to a decent start

I don't think it's a bad appointment -- he's a solid Championship manager who knows the area & club very well --- should slot in quickly.

Also we needed a quick appointment - to help get key transfer deadline deals & stop drift (2 or 3 weeks with no-one in charge could have killed us).

I'll give him a chance & we all need to.

I dont think anyone is suggesting we wont give him a chance

The more I think about it the more I think Neil leaving and Mowbray coming in has been on the cards for a while even if it's happened at a slightly earlier stage of the season than the club had anticipated.

Giving Neil a wage hike whilst not removing the clause giving him permission to speak to Championship clubs seems as though the club at least had suspicions that he'd be off fairly sharpish so they moved to ensure that we'd get a higher compensation package and the fact that Mowbray has been seen attending at least 2 of our games this season feels a bit too much of a coincidence.

Pretty much confirms that we're going nowhere under this ownership. What a f***ing horrendous lack of ambition

Feels like the Parkinson appointment all over again.
Utter none sense…the club is progressing ….Mowbray is probably the best candidate to stabilise us this season and to provide a platform for a real go next season.
our recent recruitment is not based on throwing money at the squad but rather an intelligent commitment to youth and potential.

Not at all, seems we are just playing some football game in real time.

I’m not even sure if the kid has cam out and gave a plan of where he wants us to be in 3/5/10 years etc.
As it stands it looks like the plan is just to develop players and sell them for profit and go nowhere

He's a safe pair of hands, which is what we need right now. Solid Championship manager who fits the attacking football/develop young player aims. and can start to build on the foundations built so far. We need to play a long game here.
