Florent Ghisolfi

This view that EVERYTHING in the garden is rosy and will continue to be so is unrealistic and unsustainable. Kumbaya anyone?
We are undoubtedly à well run club, no one can deny this
In the past 12 months we have seen the summary departures of 2 hugely important figures in Bruce and Speakman ( especially the latter who we all thought was joined at the hip to KLD) and also the highly credentialed Vulcano
Such ruthlessness is a hallmark of modern well run organisations and those that remain will not want to be seen as rocking the boat etc

Was talking to an Arsenal mate of mine. He compared our signing of Xhaka to when they signed Bergkamp. Said there are some signings that are a catalyst to take you on to the next level as a football club and the quality of player you can and do attract is a step change. I hope hes right.

We all know he has done an unbelievable job since he arrived but what I've noticed more and more over the last few months is how close he is to the players and how much they seem to love and respect him

All the behind the scenes videos the club post after every game you can see how involved he is. Yet another example of why we are doing so well as a club.

Everyone one of us from the cleaning lady to the fanbase are so together so aligned it's why this club is on the up and why imho is the reason we are going to have the most successful period in the history of the club
I've noticed that, he's always in picture. It does worry me a little bit like as if he has too much power and fucks off where does it leave us?

He's carried on the great work that Speakman did and turned it up a notch. It's going to be really exciting Summer. I've a feeling there's going to a few jaw dropping signings incoming
I’d settle for another 5 or 6 that I’ve never heard of before that turn into world beaters at the SoL.

Morning Ghis.

A lot of our success is down to this fella. I think there is something attractive to ambitious people like him in getting hold of a club like us and turning us into a top level team. There won’t be the politics involved tge same as United or Chelsea or any of the “top” clubs. KLD had a blank canvass. He’s here till we win the CL😀

Or put another way, you’re gonna be more highly regarded if you take a club like us to the top rather than a club who is already there.

Was going to mention exactly this.

If Granit Xhaka gives public praise to the owners, staff, and everyone else involved with the club... yet Flo's the only individual to get name-dropped... you hear with both ears.
Time to get some recruitment t-shirts and merch done: "Go with the Flo".

6 weeks? Alright work if you can get it. Probably the most important period of his role.

Links up with all the teachers on their school hols he’s a right laugh is our Flo

Good point, if I were KLD i’d be succession planning, getting Ghisolfi to train someone to do his job for him, almost like a deputy

You can tell, he's always around. Outside the changing rooms giving them pep talks etc.
I'm not sure how I feel about all that to be honest. Is it normal for the Director of Football to be that involved? He's there all the time.

That said, the likes of Granit keep namechecking him, so who knows.

The key relationship is the one between "Flo" and Regis.
