Yeah cos it's really insensible wanting a manager who got Sunderland promoted out of the Championship when they were on their knees who has the passion and gets the club to manage us and then kept us up with a poor side on paper.

He had one good season winning the league after basically signing his mates (he no longer has that luxury). Which by the way Moyes has also done & been heavily criticised for.
The poor side he (only just) kept up, was the one he bought, spending an absolute fortune on. Buying players for far more than they were worth.
What kept us up was Kenwyn's goals. The player we (got lucky) bought as a 3rd choice, cos Nugent (who failed) and Mido (also failed) turned us down
He was clueless in the transfer market

Nearly got embarrassed by Northampton in the cup, turned on the fans cos they dared to critcise a poor performance.
He completely failed at Ipswich, so no lessons learned there.
He's a shit manager who had 1 good season. Appointing him really would be a disaster.

His second season was a great achievement too. We won that Northampton game that you seem to think was embarrassing. You do know most Premier Clubs struggle in League Cup at some stage v lower league opposition?

He signed Kenwyne's goals but no don't give him credit for that.
His signings were much more inspiring that Moyes and most of his so called mates did a good job.
Keano is king.

His 2nd season wasn't 'great' at all given how much he spent.
Yes the league cup can be a banana skin, but we were at home, it was a poor performance, and he slagged the fans off.
He did sign Jones, but it was ultimately a lucky panic buy that turned good as preferred failed other options turned us down

Change Sunderland for mags and Keane for Keegan and reread it
