No nothing like Smith who was a class act

All about opinions but think Sibley quite lucky he never made is debut in the Ashes and was held back to make his debut against South Africa as personally think Cummins and Hazelwood would have found him out

To me looking at Burns,Sibley and Crawley think Burns is the best of the 3, really stood up to that excellent Aussie attack in the Ashes

Haha no. Smith player one side of the wicket, it can be done

I wish people would stop Trying to put down this South Arica tour

Rabada, philander and that absolutely star the 90mph lad

Why is that easy?

Sibley also made a big ton in Australia a tour

Double it zak.

Sibley debate, he's impressed with temperament but think he needs to improve his legside technique by the time the Ashes come along otherwise hed struggle to pass 20 against their attack

Boycott made the point about very few top order batsmsn been successful at his height

Never noticed that before
I must be the only who quite likes England's current openers. Both are doing fine at the moment, hopefully the averages can come up a bit but they bat time well. Better than being 30/3 like we were often previously

You ain’t mate I’m with you

Don’t excellent

I don’t even know why it’s up for discussion currently
Sibley, Burns and Denly set this up by the way

Allows stokes n Crowley to do this

Philander apart from the first test bowled poor in the series a bit of a swan song ,he was no where near as good as he has been.

Don’t think Rabada bowled as well as he normally does either.

Again just opinions but as a team thought South Africa were a very poor team in that series, they whole preparation and form going into that series was poor.

I actually backed England to win that series when 1 0 down, but my thinking was that South Africa were a poor test team

Think Sibley has done well so far, yes there’s a technique issue but Graeme Smith and Alistair Cook made a career on about three scoring shots. Openers are shaping up nicely IMO and Crawley could compliment them at number 3 as he’s more fluent.

I think you right in one way, my concern is the level of attack they have faced in their relatively short test career, South Africa and West Indies.

So did Denly

This is a terrible post

West Indies have had the 2nd best pace attack in the world since the start of 2018

What disrespectful nonsense

Rabada????

I give up sometimes
Did Denlyy do as well as Burns in that series not sure he did iirc

Yeah, few 50s and a 94 did pretty well

All I said is Rabada did not bowl as well in that series as he normally does, Rabada is a terrific bowler but did not have a particular good series against England.

As for your other point was making the point that think a Aussie attack is more of a test than a West Indian attack or the South African performance in that last series

Both them are fair enough points and not the slightest as been nonsense or disrespectful just opinion

I respect your opinion as a cricket lover but you don’t half tend to take opinions that don’t compare with yours out of context

New ball. This is probably the windies last chance of forcing a win from here. Or england get away and get the lead up to 200 before close.

lead at 100 currently

I thought Burns did better mind

Yeah marginally

Was just saying that the Aussie attack was more of a test as they bowled superbly in the Ashes imo.

That is not disrespectful to the West Indies attack saying Aussies are better

Man United have a good football team but think Man City are better and a bigger test for teams that is not been disrespectful to Man United just a opinion that another team is better and more of a test
