This steady state is so boring but need to build up my aerobic base. Been talked into signing up for a boxing match next year.

How far did you run mate? You doing 3x2min rounds?

Its all down to the individual really mate. I mean you will know all the standard stuff like 70% of MHR for 20/30 mins 4 times a week.

I generally just stick to around 3miles and sometimes throw in a longer run. With you being so heavy with your height, swimming would be a good choice tbf.

Look at Wlad Klitschko, he doesn't run at all.
