Started this yesterday so I have only done a few hours but first impressions are good. I can already tell I will get quickly bored of the battle system mind.

It gets a lot better as you gain more powers, the beginning is very tedious when you have about 2 different moves you can use

30 odd hours into this and I'm enjoying it but all the negative points people have made about it are valid. The combat is far too easy.

Agreed, however you should eventually unlock a monster hunting board and some of the things you can fight are insanely hard (if you haven’t unlocked already)

Finally finished this today. Not a fan of the combat at all but enjoyed it overall. Going to replay Final Fantasy 9 now though for some more traditional Final Fantasy gameplay.

There’s very little too it apart from the combat though isn’t there
I got bored about half way through with it.
