Just remembered when I was probably the same age crying at Jaws. I thought it was canny shocking, as a toddler, why they wanted to kill the shark.
Quite why my parents were watching Jaws when their little 3-4 year old was in the room I'm not sure.
Anyway, I dont cry at films now, I'm an adult

The film that upset me the most when I was younger was The Elephant Man - I don't think I cried but I felt badly sick, watched it back some time later and it brought it all back

The scene where the English soldier volunteers to burn alive in place of the lass, and when he is in agony burning, Daniel Day-Lewis shoots him dead from a big distance away: then obviously the scene where the other English lass falls off the cliff rather than submitting to Magua's advances.
