You were wanting refunds for everyone who has already renewed on your original post. I'd imagine the club would class that as an extra cost like.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Lord Alfred's thinking. If you increase the footfall to 30000 instead of just 20000 you also increase the likelihood of more visitors to the club store which in turn will bring in more revenue. Added to that you have increased sales in the various bars and at the vendors. This approach will also bring more people into the City on match day whereby traders will also see continued or increased levels of sales. You have to look at more than just the cash takings. 30000 people will create more of an atmosphere than 20000.

You really can’t say that....it’s an assumption.

You know those end aisles in the supermarkets where companies offer their goods at reduced prices.....why do you think they do it. Do they do it because they’re happy to sell at a loss or do they think that people will like what they buy and continue buying it at normal prices.

Is their a limit to the number of tins of beans a company can sell?
Are their other beans available?
What happens when the beans become popular and they go up a third of the price one day?

How am I pedant?

I have no problem with people being creative. Does that mean I have to agree with every idea no matter how shit I think it is?

Just get your 2 season tickets at £795 each with the money you have set aside or dont. Its really that simple.

And regards a season ticket there is the option to buy into a club with ambition or not buy if you think the owners aren’t really ambitious and you’ll be served more of what drove you away in the first place.
