Nah, limited mobilty due to previous spinal cord injury. Looks like when I have fallen, my body has twisted but my foot hasn't moved in time. Obviously I take more time to move limbs with my sci
 


Discharged today, back up and about on my crutches. I had a femoral shaft spiral fracture with intermedllary nailing to internally fixate.

Doc wants as little weight as possible put through leg for six weeks so going to have to ring club up to get seats moved to one of the wheelchair bays
Space aged now
 
Hmmmm.... Went for a dexa scan the other week. Got results today and have a bone density of T-3.1 Apparently that means I have osteoporosis which I suppose would explain how I broke my femur fairly easily at the 'tender age of 40!'.

Anyone with any experience of this as I don't see consultant again until October?
