Was at a do last night and slipped on crutches and ended up breaking my femur!

Now waiting surgery! NHS is brilliant, I live these people.
(Currently smacked off my tits on Morphine and trammys!!)

Unlucky lad. But how does one break a femur?
Crutch went from under me and needed up slamming onto floor on left leg, all my body weight ended up on left leg.

Was on floor two hours before proper ambulance arrived

I got ran over by a lorry when I was a kid and broke my femur in my left leg - biggest bone in your body! Long road to recovery for you mate but you will get there. Do they still keep your leg up in traction after the op?

I wish you well in your recovery ...
