Favourite Sunderland conspiracy theory

Just happy to do that and pocket cash from player sales.

Funnily enough everyone who made this claim now claims they never made it
Speakman actively not wanting to spend money was another canny one along those lines.

Not going to pretend that I wasn't massively critical of those 2 around what was by their standards the shitshow that was 23/24 but that and Dreyfus not wanting promotion were 2 theories that never made an ounce of sense whatsoever.

Thread 'Sacking Grayson the easy choice.' Sacking Grayson the easy choice.
Whilst Simon Grayson was a joke of a manager he did call it right with many of the players that were just not good enough for the Championship in the end. I don’t care who was in charge that season we were getting relegated because the players just didn’t care one bit for the club and only their wage.

He called a couple of the players wrong who he thought wouldn’t be good enough in the Championship who have went on to have a good professional career and he missed a few who were tragic too.

Looking back most of us thought getting relegated would be a good refresh, get rid of the deadwood and win some games. There will be some West Ham, Wolves and Spurs fans are probably thinking the same now, and I think at least 1 of those if not 2 who go down will have a good 4/5 years out of the Premier League.

I haven’t read all his posts so some might be mental takes, probably not as mental as an ex manager coming onto a fans forum to try and stick up for himself though like we have some say on his reputation.

Robbie Savage left a message on Roy Keane’s voicemail saying that he’d love to sign for Sunderland and ended the message by leaving a kiss.

Robbie Keane is still sat, pen in hand, waiting to sign a contract in the carpark of the AOL, suffering from rickets having had to survive on a diet of Dominoes pizza for 15 years now
Has he been staying at seaham hall all that time?

The details might be slightly off on this one but im sure there was a rumour that Steed was leaving because his son was battling cancer back in france or london (i think)

an outpouring of support, came as you'd expect. Only for it to turn out he didnt even have as son

We'll never get promoted because we haven't signed a 20 goal a season striker for £10m+

Was always a daft view on here.
