Favourite Durham "official" overseas player



Boon. Hands down.

It’s been mentioned, but he started much of what came after, set the club right up with a change in attitude and a new focus.

Just seen the thread now marra, Boony was overseas when I first got a junior membership - he scored a matchwinning 50 at my first ever game (against Worcestershire, Sunday League) so I may be a little biased due to that, but I do truly believe what I said about his lasting effect on the club.

Others have been exceptional too, Hussey was immense and propelled us back to Division One. Gibson (I know, not technically overseas) was instrumental in our maiden trophy and DiVa’s role has been mentioned plenty already.

I’d probably have Benks as our greatest non-homegrown lad mind, I’d love to see the club get him back involved somehow.

A word for, he was Hastings was so good like and properly invested in the team.Club and area

it’s a shame he did so well in one way as it got him back in the Aussie squads

i think he would have stayed here ifnot

couldnt play in the title winning game

that title win was our best achievement in my opinion
