its what i felt when i started playing it but 12 hours in now and im addicted all over again :lol:
 
It all seems a lot easier than the first one, unless im just used to it now?

I remember the first one being a twat at first and having to sup radiated water and stuff that I found to survive as well as constantly running low on ammo yet on this one I haven't touched any non purified food items and I seem to have guns and ammo falling out of my arse. Also doesn't seem to be as much in the way of radiated areas as the first one (have they reduced all this due to some not being able to put in the graft in the first one and giving up on it early?).

^ mind, thats not on hardcore mode (tho the way its all setup I can't really see there being too much difference). I couldn't be fucked on with the weight issues I'd get, its a complete pain as it is trying to carry a few guns.

Canny game so far, doesn't seem to have as big a bang as the first one (tho thats partly as its been done before).

The main problem with the last one was that it was easy. I was hoping they'd improve that. :neutral:

Still have to disagree. And all that did was effect combat anyway. The levelling was done so badly it didn't take long to become a walking wasteland god with the intelligence of Einstein, the charisma of Obama and the firepower of the Terminator. I thought the whole point of an RPG was that you had to specialise.

I hope they don't have mutants in this one - something meant to be from the storyline of FO1. They were killed off in that one pretty much - why do they keep bringing them back.

I think it does, was talking to some geezers and they mentioned seeing some muties along a stretch of road.
 
ive already got it but dont fancy playing on it like. Ive never played any of the other ones either
 
I tried Fallout 3 on my PS3, but couldnt get into it. It seemed to be boring and very slow.
Should i try this and persevere?

I escaped the vault, wandered around aimlessly for a while and that was it. :lol:

Ive never packed in with a game so soon.
 
It's a sandbox game, its not meant to hold your hand all the way through it like every other game that gets released nowadays.

Go exploring, find things, don't rely on the game just giving you everything. You may find out that you actually prefer this type of game. There isn't really a "go here do this" approach to it, do wtf you want on it and have fun. Don't just give up because you cant just press forward and tap X to complete it, put some effort in. Go out looking for quests to do and find unexplored areas where you can go and salvage stuff.

Anyways, not sure if it does actually have the big mutants in it. Found some other guys, which look exactly the same (lazy twats) but are blue and I think they could be the new mutie fellas.

Does it have Deathclaws in the game?

Best part of the game was exploring and having no idea what you were going to find. Just wandering about the wasteland and finding a village of seemingly normal people who turned out to be cannibals, or a Vault full of Garys :lol:

Save save save though there nowt worse then forgetting to save while walking about only to get ambusehd and lose hours of play.:lol:

I save constantly, especially before I got decent weapons. Nowt worse than roaming the wasteland and stumbling across a deathclaw.

Later on it was the groups of albino radscorpions. Three of them together were a handful!

Aye, I remember wandering around the north of the map and came across a herd of Deathclaws (3 of the buggers) it was safe to say I didn't last long.
 
deathclaws were pretty rare though. I didnt like those things you had to shoot in the eye, invunerable everywhere else and they charged at you :eek: remember going into one building looking for something, couldnt find the way back out and they were everywhere. died many times.
